Collaborative Approaches to Managing ELearning

Inspire Research Ltd are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as the external evalutors for the CAMEL project.

CAMEL or Collaborative Approaches to the Management of eLearning is funded by HEFCE's Leadership, Governance and Management Programme (LGM). The project is led by JISC infoNet, in partnership with JISC, the Association for Learning Technology (ALT) and the Higher Education Academy. It aims to develop a community of practice based around a series of study visits to four institutions (Leeds College of Technology, Loughborough College, University of Greenwich and Staffordshire University). The community will also be utilising different online communication tools to exchange and share experience in eLearning management. The project is based on an old farming concept, but is quite unique in spanning Further and Higher Education. The first study visit included some frank and open discussion, and it was enlightening to see the similiarities and differences between the sectors being explored. Definitely a project to keep an eye on!
